NOTES
- Cronk Urleigh
- John Mylrea was the step-father of Elizabeth Corlett als Barrie, the vendor in this contract
- He married Elizabeth's widowed mother in 1846 in Douglas, and Elizabeth her younger daughter lived at Cronk Urleigh while her older child Margaret Jane remained with her grandmother, Margaret Brew in Douglas
- This dwelling was one of two purchased by Elizabeth's father Robert Barrie, in 1840. He died in 1841
- Elizabeth married Edward Taubman Corlett in 1863 in Douglas, and lived in Ramsey
- It is likely that Elizabeth was selling both her and her sister's share of the dwelling, the sister having died in 1872. If this is correct, then the half share of Margaret Mylrea als Barrie als Brew remained intact, and John Mylrea might have purchased the daughters' share to keep ownership of the Bigwell St dwelling under the Mylrea family's control
- Big Well Stree was demolished in the 1920s to make way for new housing. What remained was renamed Lord Street
