  3. The recipient's grandfather was John Mylrea who married to Isabella Quayle 1814. This Mylrea family was of the Ballacooiley Mylrea clan, but descended through Daniel Mylrea, the second son of John Mylrea & Jane Clark, and as such, not entitled to inherit the family estate
  4. The recipient, a short time after receiving this Settlement, was catastrophically damaged and termed an imbecile/lunatic until his death in 1905. The event happened in Manchester, and her became entitled to a payment of 6/- per week for the rest of his life from the Manchester Joiners' Club
  5. Elizabeth Quayle, the giver was unmarried, and had been living at Cronk Urleigh with the Mylrea for several decades
  6. The giver had received this piece of Shalghaige quarterland in 1845 from her mother Mary Quayle als Crellin who had received it from her husband, John Quayle. Mary has no surviving burial record in Michael but left a will. Mary Crellin married John Quayle in Michael in 1786
  7. Elizabeth Quayle died in 1777, just 18 months after making this settlement
  8. The other Mylrea family in Michael at much the same time belonged to Thomas Mylrea, the corn miller, and Mary Elizabeth Caine. Thomas came from Braddan and had no connection to John Mylrea of Cronk Urleigh although in 1850, his youngest brother William married John's sister, Mary
