The last will and testament of me John Thomas Mylrea, corn dealer, seedsman etc
I will and bequeath the sum of one shilling sterling legacy to any and each person who are legally entitled to participate in my estate - who will demand and pay all fees and expenses on the same
I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Jane to be my sole executrix, to have and to hold all my property either personal or real for her personal use (as long as she continues in my name) and also for the use of my son Thomas, the whole of the residue of all such property to become the property of my said son in case of the marriage or demise of the said Jane Mylrea

NOTES
- John Thomas Mylrea was the oldest son of Thomas Mylrea, the miller of Glen Wyllin
- He was born in 1845 in Michael, and married Jane Stowell in 1880 in Douglas
- John Thomas was a ship owner and corn dealer in Castletown. He died at the relatively early age of 48
- John Thomas, by virtue of his father's 1876 will, inherited half of three rents - a small piece of Quarterland in Dr0mrewaigh, Intack #63, and a corn mill. The other half went to Thomas's widow, Mary Elizabeth, who in turn passed her share on to Thomas when she died in 1877
- Intack #63 was sold to Ann Cowley in Julyl 1890
- John Thomas left the two remaining rents to his wife, Jane Stowell (LV 1898) and when she died in 1900, they passed to John who was still a minor (LV 1901)
- His son, Thomas Mylrea, was born in 1883, so only 11 years old when John Thomas died, and 17 years old when his mother died
- Young Thomas married in 1904 but tragically his wife died a few months later
- He left for the US soon afterwards where he married Bertha Thomas and became a father to two daughters. The family made its home in Oklahoma
- In 1908, he sold the share of the cornmill bequeathed to his father, John Thomas, in his grandfather's 1876 will
