NOTES
- Ballasalley
- Cathrin was buried 7th February 1688. She was probably in her early 30s when she died [Cath Illeria als Bridson]
- She was the wife of William Mylerea who was the son of John McYllria, who died in 1680 just weeks after she and William were married
- Cathrin & William had two children, Issable (1681) and John (1683), both of whom died in the smallpox epidemic of 1685, Issable Inyreah buried on 21st May and John McYlleriah on 24th May
- Her husband did not remarry. In the years before his death, he sold off most of his houses and lands, and left the remainder of his goods to his niece. His will also mentions two cousins, John & Thomas Mylrea, the sons of Thomas Mylrea of Fildraw
- There is much about the Malew Mylreas of the 1600s and early 1700s that does not hang together so extreme caution must be exercised
