  1. Fildraw
  2. Charles jnr was the oldest son of Charles Mylrea & Margaret Bridson, baptised 1718
  3. He married Mary Bell als Bridson c1736; five children Charles (1738-1741), John (1740), Robert (1742), William (1746), Thomas (1750)
  4. Mary died 1782; Charles jnr 1792. Son Charles died in infancy; nothing is known about the fates of the other sons
  5. This is the eighth in a series of contracts that began in 1712, mortgaging or selling parts of the Mylrea family estate, Fildraw, the first involving Charles's grandfather, John. They tend to suggest that this family had been pressed financially for some time
  6. There is much about the Malew Mylreas of the 1600s and early 1700s that does not hang together so extreme caution must be exercised
